Britta and Chris | Kansas City "Engagement"

Britta and Chris. Oh my gosh. We recently got connected with them through one of our favorite event coordinators here in KC who is planning a dream "wedding" for them this October.  Why, you ask, are "engagement" and "wedding" in quotes?  Well, because they are actually already married.  But, due to a cancer diagnosis and the chemotherapy treatments it required, they never got to experience the beautiful wedding they had always hoped for. More recently, they had plans for a vow renewal to honor their 15 years of marriage, but a job loss and a second cancer diagnosis meant that was no longer feasible for them. Enter Christine Darden.  This incredible lady, wedding professional, and friend is putting together a group of KC's most awesome wedding vendors so that this amazing couple can finally have the wedding of their dreams. Unfortunately, we were already booked for another wedding on the day of their celebration, but that didn't stop us from doing their "engagement" photos! They are seriously one of the most adorable couples we have ever met, and they are truly, madly, deeply in love with each other.  Won't you join us in welcoming them to the blog, congratulating them on a SECOND cancer victory [woohoo!], and wishing them the very best as they celebrate 15 years of marriage and get ready for 15 more?
