Hannah and Mark | Fall River, MA Wedding at The Abbey Grill

We were lucky enough to travel back east to photograph a wedding recently. New England is our second home, so we were thrilled to find out that Hannah and Mark were tying the knot at The Abbey Grill in Fall River, MA, and wanted us to document it for them.

We’ve never incorporated a history lesson into a blog post before, but there’s no time like the present! The Abbey Grill has a pretty cool backstory. It originally housed the Central Congregational Church, built in 1875 to serve the wealthy of Fall River. It was the church home for the infamous Lizzie Borden, was the back drop for the music video "Crying" by Aerosmith, and was once home to The International Culinary Institute of America. See? Fascinating, right?

Hannah and Mark started out the day getting ready with friends and family, excited for what was to come. One of our favorite things was Hannah giving all of her bridesmaids custom Chucks. What a killer gift!

Their ceremony started promptly at 4ish [check out their program for the rest of the hilarity], and everything was uphill from there. We found a super colorful spot for portraits that complimented Hannah’s ink, shit got real when they cut their cake, and the drinks made the people dance. What else could you possibly want?

Hannah and Mark, thank you so much for allowing us to be part of your celebration. We wish you the very best as you begin this new chapter!
