Ian and Josh | Kansas City Wedding at Cedar Crest Lodge

Like many other couples right now, Ian and Josh’s wedding day didn’t turn out how they had originally planned. But they adapted with grace and humility, and we were so honored to still be able to capture their story. Quite frankly, these small, intimate weddings have always been some of our very favorites, so we’ve really been loving seeing how our clients are getting creative and still holding their weddings, despite what the world throws at them.

Ian and Josh drove an hour south of Kansas City the day before their wedding to arrive at Cedar Crest Lodge, the most charming bed and breakfast we’ve seen in a long time. Plus. . .cat. So that’s an immediate win for us. Their parents, Josh’s brother, and two of their closest friends joined them there the next day, and after some photos around the property and a lovely dinner, they got married overlooking the grounds, shortly before sunset. It was literally perfect.

Ian and Josh, we are so thankful that you chose us to be part of your special day. And even though plans had to shift a bit, you guys kept the focus on what really matters. . .your love for each other. We wish you the very best as you begin your life together!
