Taylor and Ian | Kansas City Wedding in the West Bottoms
This was seriously the coolest weekend ever, and we are so thankful to have been part of it!
Taylor first met Ian when she was training him at a gym in their native Chicago. After initially building a relationship as friends, they eventually ended up dating and got engaged the day before Thanksgiving in 2021.
Now, their entire family are HUGE Bears fans, so when the Chiefs/Bears game was scheduled for 2023, they decided they would all make the trek to Kansas City to cheer on their team. It’s worth noting that Taylor’s brother lives in KC [smart man], so they decided, “Why not just get married while everyone is there together?”. So they planned a small elopement, had a lovely ceremony in the West Bottoms, celebrated afterwards at her brother’s downtown condo, and then headed out to Arrowhead for the game the next day. Perfect!
