Lora and Eric | Lawrence, KS Wedding

Shortly after Eric and Lora booked their wedding with us, we started discussing their engagement session.  After some talk, we found out that Manhattan, KS is the place that holds the most special place in their hearts [GO STATE!].  That is where Lora went to school, and Eric spent a lot of his time there with her.  So, after a few bad weather reschedules in KC, we ended up being able to shoot their engagement session in Manhattan [EMAW!]!  [For those who don't know us that well, or didn't catch on to the oh, so subtle hints, The Little Apple is our second home and our happy place, so we were thrilled to be able to get back there with them]. So, why all the talk about their engagement session, since this post is about their wedding?  Well, because the wedding took place in enemy territory...that's why.  We love Lawrence as much as the next person...such a cool little college town.  Great beer and awesome candles are among our favorites.  But c'mon.  We're purple people in a sea of red and blue when we're in town [just like Lora and Eric].  So, needless to say, we couldn't post the wedding without the whole story.  Congrats, fellow Wildcats!  We were so honored to document your day for you!
