Kamin and Mike | Lawrence, KS Wedding

Every now and then, when a couple comes into our studio for a wedding consult, we know almost immediately that we want to work with them. That it will be a perfect fit for everyone. Maybe even that it's just meant to be! We had one of those experiences with Kamin and Mike. As soon as they started telling us their story and about their wedding plans, we knew this was going to be one of those times. The weekend they described to us was going to be all about family, friends, and togetherness. Their focus was on experiences and people, rather than "things". And their plans came to fruition perfectly on Memorial Day weekend. Everything kicked off on Sunday when the two of them gathered at Circle S Ranch just after lunch, with all of their kids. They headed out onto the property on horseback, so that their kids could select the ceremony location for the following day. How wonderful is that?!? We think they chose the absolute perfect spot. They then spent the afternoon fishing, relaxing, and just enjoying each other's company. After a laid back family dinner and some yard games, everyone retired for the evening so they would be rested up for the big day. Monday rolled around, and everything went off without a hitch. A lovely private family ceremony, where two families became one. And then back up to the ranch for a fun gathering with their closest friends and family.
