Emily and Peter | Kansas City Wedding at River Market Event Place

Emily and Peter's engagement session is one of our all time favorites. And their wedding certainly didn't disappoint either. For them, it was all about keeping things simple, stress free, and fun. Our kind of wedding! Everything went down on this beautiful June day at River Market Event Place. From the guys getting ready in the airstream outside, to their gorgeous ceremony inside, to the ice cream truck that showed up with sweet treats for all their guests. It was all just perfect. Of course, we had to venture out a little bit on the streetcar...what a gift this has proven to be for getting around downtown KC with wedding parties! One of our favorite moments of the day was when their guests "warmed" their rings for them. We first saw this at a wedding we shot in January, and we immediately fell in love with this tradition.
