Kaitlin and Jared | Kansas City Wedding
I've always imagined that teachers have a similar experience as parents when they watch/see their students...their "kids"...grow up, go out into the world, and become awesome adults doing great things. Now I know this to be true. Years ago, Jason taught photography to a really wonderful group of high school students here in KC, at Brighton Academy. That was when he first discovered his love for teaching and working with young people, and it led him to design and teach many more classes directly through our studio over the next several years. Why am I telling you this? What does this have to do with a wedding post? Well, Katie used to be one of those high school students. So you can imagine our delight when she emailed us, told us she was getting married, and wanted us to photograph the day. We were thrilled! It was a beautifully simple and perfect celebration, and we were so thankful to be part of it. Katie and Jared, thank you so much for inviting us to document your story for you. We can't wait to see where you will go from here! Congratulations and EMAW!!!
