Karla and Patrick | Downtown Kansas City Engagement Session

On Karla and Patrick’s first date, they started things off at Brew Lab in downtown Overland Park. Things were going so well, they decided to extend the date by heading over a few blocks to Burg & Barrel. THEN, the WHOLE NIGHT went so well and they were both soooo into each other, they saw each other again the next night AND day, then again the NEXT night and day. Essentially, their first date became a whole first date weekend. So basically, they were destined right from the start. These are the stories we love. <3

Now, as a happily engaged couple, excited about their summer 2020 wedding, we decided to incorporate some of their favorite things to do into their session. Their all time favorite place to see a movie is Alamo Drafthouse, so that’s where we began! We’re big theater movie buffs ourselves, so we support this 100%. We then spent some time at The Belfry [their fave cocktail and french fry spot. . .because cocktails and fries], the Boulevard rooftop [where they had their second date. . .because duh. . .Kansas City], and finally, we threw in a little Art Alley for good measure.

Karla and Patrick are just about as fun as they come, and we CAN’T WAIT for their two families to become one next July. Until then, you two crazy kids. . .
