Merritt and Mike | Milwaukee Wisconsin Engagement Session

A couple weeks ago, we hit the road for a late summer road trip to shoot some out of town engagement sessions. Our first stop was Milwaukee, Wisconsin. . .Wauwatosa, to be exact. That’s where Merritt and Mike live, and we were so happy when we found out that they wanted us to photograph them in the place they call home. A lot of our clients don’t live in Kansas City, and even though they may come back here for their weddings, the cities where they live. . .where they have built lives together. . .are usually very important to them. And documenting this part of their stories, in places that mean something to them, means something to us too!

So, we rolled into town and got to work. We started off at their home, because, what place is more important than that? They loaded up their bikes and hammock, and we set out for the Oak Leaf Trail. After a walk and a little hammock time by the river, we headed back into town where they spend a lot of time when they go out.

Merritt and Mike, thank you so much for inviting us to Wisconsin! We had so much fun, and we loved it there so much, we can’t wait to come back for a longer visit someday! Until January 25th. . .
