Devon and Vince | Kansas City Wedding at Crossroads Hotel

Where do we even start? We’ve been working with Vince’s family for many years, so we were thrilled when he and Devon contacted us about their upcoming wedding. And what a wonderful day it was.

They started off on Friday evening with a tea ceremony at Devon’s father’s house. Tea ceremonies are always one of our favorite things to photograph, and this was certainly no exception. Honoring family who is present, as well as those who are no longer with us, they are such a beautiful way to pay respect and start the couple off with an abundance of wisdom, encouragement, and love.

The next day, the celebration moved downtown to the Crossroads Hotel for a morning ceremony and brunch. Perfection! I mean, food, family, friends, and the best darn skyline view in the whole city? What’s not to love? One of our favorite things was all the ways they included Devon’s son in the festivities. He is clearly one loved little dude, and was so excited for his mama!
