Laney and Matt | Wedding at Hotel Kansas City

I don’t even know where to start with these two. They are literally the sweetest people on the planet and working with them over the past year has been an absolute dream.

We first met them in person when we went down to Charleston for their engagement session. In addition to falling in love with them, we also fell in love with the city! What a magical place! Fast forward eight months, and they made the trip back to KC for the wedding.

Everything took place at the beautiful Hotel Kansas City, and it was the perfect day from start to finish. The love from their family and friends was palpable [which was not surprising in the least] and there were so many special touches and moments. . .almost too many to list. Some of our favorites were the sweet time Matt spent with his mom before the ceremony, the cake topper that was also used by Laney’s parents and grandparents, and her grandmother’s pearl bracelet that she wore, that has been worn in all family weddings. Things like this are why we still love shooting weddings after almost 18 years.

Laney and Matt, we honestly don’t even know where to begin. Thank you, thank you, thank you. . .not only for trusting us to tell your story, but for just being so damn awesome. We can’t wait to come back to Charleston for another visit. Wanna go ghost hunting?
