Erika and Cole | Kansas City Engagement Session at The Nelson

If there were a contest for “Most Adorable Couple”, these two would definitely be solid contenders. They first met online back in the early part of the pandemic. After chatting for a while and realizing that they had a lot in common [including their love of ice cream], they decided to meet up. For ice cream! Duh.

Erika, who was living with her parents at the time, lied and told them she was going to meet up with some friends. But she really headed to Sheridan’s and saw her future husband for the first time. They even ordered the exact same thing [caramel pretzel crunch concretes, in case you were wondering]. It was love at first scoop! Sorry.

After 4 hours of non-stop talking, it was clear that these two were MFEO. If you haven’t seen that movie, I can’t even help you. They dated for the next two years, at which time Cole planned an awesome trip to CA wine country, where he popped the question during a private winery tour. He basically set the bar too high too fast, and will now spend the rest of his life trying to come up with bigger and better dates. Erika’s a lucky girl!

They’re planning a spring 2023 wedding, and to say we’re excited is the understatement of the century. Until then, you two lovebirds. . .
