Stephanie and Dave | Kansas City Engagement Session at Madrid Theatre
Stephanie and Dave met at work after the company he was working for relocated to Kansas City and recruited Stephanie right out of college. After dating for a while, Dave knew she was the one, so he got to work on planning the most perfect proposal.
They planned on having dinner with some friends, but when the friends “got sick” they enjoyed a romantic dinner, just the two of them, at Novel. Great choice, Dave! When dinner was over, he suggested they go take a selfie in front of the “Kansas City I’m So In Love” mural. So they walked over there, and when Stephanie turned to look at him, he was down on one knee. Little did she know, their friends were hiding behind a car photographing the entire thing. Great work, Dave!
To celebrate, they decided to head to a bar around the corner to grab a drink, again, just the two of them. But when they walked in, Stephanie found that about 50 of their friends and family were waiting there for a surprise engagement party. Excellent work, Dave! Thank goodness she said “yes”!
They love hanging out on the Plaza and discovering fun new happy hour spots, so that’s how we spent our time with them for their engagement session. Double Shift Brewing Company for the win. After a couple of reschedules due to bad weather, this day turned out just perfectly!
They’re planning an August 24th wedding at the Madrid Theatre, and we can’t wait!
