Natalie and Wesley | Wedding at The Kansas City Club
How do we love this wedding? Let us count the ways.
1.] These two families. Just. Awesome.
2.] Natalie’s absolutely stunning gown.
3.] Lots and lots of K-State. Groom’s cake, neckties, and pep band [Wabash!]. EMAW.
4.] The fact that Natalie was drum major of said band, and that she took the helm at the reception. As a former marching band member [in high school] and music major at K-State [Allison], there’s not much more that I could love about this! And Jason has always been sort of a marching band groupie. So there’s that.
5.] Grandpa Larry. <3
6.] The fact that the weather was C.R.U.M.M.Y. on this day, but everyone just bundled up and smiled!
7.] Music music everywhere. Natalie’s childhood piano teacher played for their ceremony, her friends performed their first dance song live, and duh. . .the pep band.
8.] The reception portrait studio. Boom.
9.] So many other things that would take forever to list. . .
But what we love the most is that Natalie and Wesley remind us so much of ourselves. Just like them, we met at K-State, fell in love, and got married young. . .because like them, we just knew. And after almost 22 years of marriage, we can confidently say that these two get it. They really do.
Natalie and Wesley, thank you so much for inviting us to be part of your day. Watching the two of you love each other and capturing your story has been such a pleasure. We wish you many many years of happiness, and when your kids meet someone at K-State someday and fall in love, we hope you’ll give us a call.
