Christine and Daren | Kansas City Engagement Session
When Christine and Daren first met, he showed her right off the bat that he was a keeper. They were both out with friends, and they decided to go to Kelly’s in Westport to play some pop-a-shot. Christine had sandals on, and one of them had broken. So Daren [the true gentleman that he is] gave her one of his shoes to wear, and he walked around the rest of the night in his socks. See? Keeper.
Once he decided she was also the one, he started making big plans for how to pop the question. He had his mom text Christine to ask if she wanted to go blueberry picking one day [in reality, his mom was just trying to make sure Christine wouldn’t make any other plans]. At the last minute, Mom switched it up and said they were going to Loose Park to play bocce ball instead [again. . .no actual plans to play bocce ball]. Christine bought the whole story and Daren proposed in front of the pond while his family hid, taking pictures of the whole thing. Family is the best. <3
These two live downtown with their adorable [and highly photogenic] dog, and they love to hang out around their neighborhood. So that’s just what we did for their session. We think it worked out just splendidly, and we can’t wait for their big day coming up in October 2020!
What’s your engagement story? We’d love to hear all about it!
