Jordan and Eric | Kansas City Wedding at 1890 Event Space
Don’t sweat the small stuff. It’s solid advice most of us have gotten at some time or another. We don’t know if Jordan and Eric’s family and friends had that phrase on repeat on their wedding day or not, but somehow they managed to take it to heart. And when all was said and done, they walked away as Mr. and Mrs. . .which is, after all, the most important thing.
From a heat advisory in the morning, to a huge storm that blew through shortly before their ceremony [causing them to move it inside at the last minute], to their sweet little boy who got sick and threw up all over Jordan’s maid of honor, they could have just thrown their hands up in defeat. But not these two. No way.
They soldiered on and made the best of everything. . .and in the end, they got a rainbow. Literally. Because when all was said and done, it didn’t matter that everything didn’t go as planned. Life doesn’t always go as planned. What matters is that two people who love each other started the day engaged, and ended it as husband and wife. All the other stuff is just. . .well, stuff. And the best part of all is that they now have a wonderful story to pass on to their children about the day mom and dad got married.
And speaking of children, the pregnancy announcement and gender reveal they did at their reception for their newest little one was fantastic! I mean, everyone they love the most was already there. . .so why not?!? IT’S A BOY!!!
Jordan and Eric, thank you for letting us be there on your special day to capture it all for you. . .the good, the bad, and the ugly. It was perfectly imperfect. And it was real. And we love that. We wish you many many years of love and happiness. . .with each other and with those two beautiful little boys. Congratulations.
