Alex and Dave | Kansas City Wedding at The Guild

We feel like we were waiting for this day forever. I mean, we kinda were given that Alex and Dave booked the date with us back in 2019 [does anyone even remember life before 2020??].

Anyhoo, the big day finally arrived and it could not have been more perfect. What the heck. . .let’s just do a top 10 list. It’s been a while.

1.] Penny [the dog] getting ready with the girls and walking down the aisle before Alex.
2.] The flamenco dancers who entertained guests at the beginning of the reception.
3.] The way Alex and Dave honored the memory of her brother who passed exactly one year before the wedding.
4.] Those bright jewel toned flowers and dresses. Gah!
5.] The flower shower as the happy couple walked back down the aisle after the ceremony.
6.] Melt Box . . need we say more? [Alex LOVES food trucks. Go get her book here!]
7.] Those sweet Grandma moments. We just couldn’t get enough of all her beautiful expressions.
8.] Alex’s dress with that stunning blush tulle skirt.
9.] Sunglasses. Some random stranger didn’t think they were so great for wedding photos. #myob
10.] The fact that June 19th holds some sad memories for their family, now it will also always be remembered as a day of celebration and love.

Alex and Dave, thank you so much for allowing us to go on this journey with you. We are so happy we got to be part of your special day, and we can’t wait to see what’s next for you!
