Theresa and Andrew | Kansas City Wedding at Madrid Theatre | Part 2

Like so many other couples, Theresa and Andrew’s wedding was impacted by Covid. Last year, they still chose to get married on their original date, but they made some big changes in order to keep everyone safe. They had a ceremony at their church and a very small gathering afterwards in a nearby park. But they weren’t able to have the big reception that they really wanted. Thankfully, they were able to keep a positive mindset and agreed that they would be patient and host their celebration as soon as it was possible to do so.

After nine long months that day finally arrived and we were thrilled to get back together with them to document part two! One of the things they didn’t get to do on their wedding day was spend time getting ready with their whole group of friends and family [because they didn’t have a full wedding party]. So the first order of business was to gather with their respective groups and have a little fun while they looked forward to the day ahead.

Unfortunately, heavy rain decided to roll in, which always makes things interesting. But we rolled with the punches and made it work. After spending a little time trying to dodge as many raindrops as we could while getting some photos around the city, it was finally time to head back for that party they had been looking forward to for so long. And it was definitely worth the wait.

Theresa and Andrew, thank you for allowing us to be part of your story. And congratulations. . .AGAIN!!!
