Kara and Perry | Kansas City Engagement Session at Shawnee Mission Park

Kara and Perry met at church and Kara was the brave one who gave him her number and asked him out. Perry said it took him a little while to realize that she was flirting with him, but eventually he got the message and their first date was a success! He was the one who made the next big move when he asked her to marry him, and she said yes. Phew!

They had really been hoping for a snow session, and as you might assume, there’s really no way to plan ahead for that around here. But thankfully our schedules synced up during the last storm and they got what they wanted!

They wanted to start at their church because it is such an important place to them. So we met them at Park City Church and got right to work. When we were done there, they wanted to hit up Shawnee Mission Park because that’s where they got engaged and it turned out to be the perfect choice on that beautiful snowy day.
