Young Family | Kansas City Portrait Session

When the Young family booked a session with us, we had planned on meeting them at their house for some pretty standard portraits. But when we arrived and started shooting, things sort of organically evolved and we ended up with more of a “real day” session. And we couldn’t have been happier. You see, these types of photos are our favorites. The ones that tell the REAL story of a family’s life. The regular everyday things they do. The simple moments they spend together. The good stuff.

We have always offered Day in the Life sessions, that are a bit longer and truly capture one day in the life of a person or family. So this one ended up being sort of an abbreviated version of that. We’re pretty much obsessed with these, and hope you will love them too!
